New Nissan Rogue for Sale in Rockville Centre, NY

Here's a Guide to the 2022 Nissan Rogue

The Nissan Rogue is a sporty two-row SUV. Nissan has really given this model a lot of advanced technology, which we know our customers will appreciate. This vehicle is also athletic and refined, and it's a great vehicle to drive around Rockville Centre.

Performance

We carry four trims of the new Rogue SUV at Nissan of Rockville Centre, and they all use the same 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with three cylinders. It's a perfect example of how something small can be quite mighty. This engine is able to crank out 201 horsepower and 225 pound-feet of torque, giving you capable acceleration on the roads of Merrick.

Nissan has paired this engine to a continuously variable transmission. This transmission also allows you to shift gears manually in case you want to be in more control of shifting while you're cruising through Brooklyn. Even if you don't choose to use the paddle shifters, you can choose from Normal, Eco and Sport driving modes depending on your preferences.

The Nissan Rogue is available with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive. If you get all-wheel drive, you'll have two additional modes so that you can better manage tough conditions near Oceanside. Those modes are Snow and Off-Road.

Safety

It comes as no surprise that the new Nissan Rogue has a full set of air bags and three-point seat belts in every position. It has an energy-absorbing steering column, crumple zones and steel side-door guard beams as well. That being said, you obviously don't want to get involved in an accident in the first place. Fortunately, the Rogue has several mechanisms that can keep you out of harm's way.

Every model comes standard with an impressive set of driver-assist technologies. Since this model has forward collision warning, lane departure warning, rear cross traffic alert and blind spot warning, Freeport drivers can be alerted whenever an issue is detected. Hopefully, this warning will prompt a response from the driver. If, for whatever reason, you don't have a chance to respond in time, the Nissan can step in and apply mild steering torque and the brakes for you. Automatic emergency braking and rear automatic braking are standard.

Many trims also have intelligent lane intervention and intelligent blind spot intervention so that they can correct your steering, too. Other advanced systems that may be available to New Hyde Park shoppers on the Rogue SUVs in our inventory include traffic sign recognition and a 360-degree monitor.

Interior

The Rogue feels spacious, and it has a cargo capacity of 36.5 cubic feet in the back. Lowering the rear seats expands that capacity to about 74 cubic feet. It doesn't take long to make that change to the rear seatbacks, and, if you get a model with remote-folding rear seats, it's even easier. You and your passengers will have plenty of room to stretch out on your drive through Valley Stream. Depending on the trim, the seats could be covered in cloth, leatherette, leather or quilted semi-aniline leather. Higher trims can have power-adjustable driver's seats with power lumbar support, heated front seats, heated rear seats and a heated steering wheel. Nissan clearly wants people to be able to stay comfortable in this SUV.

You'll find either an 8- or 9.0-inch touchscreen in this vehicle. The larger touchscreen can have navigation functions, and both versions are capable of accepting voice commands and come with Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®. SiriusXM®, a Bose® premium audio system and Wi-Fi connectivity are also available for Lynbrook drivers.
